Synthetic monitoring
Find out that sign-in or checkout is broken before your users do. VerOps runs scripted browser journeys and API checks on a schedule, from VerOps-managed cloud agents or from private agents you run inside your own network.

What you get
Browser journeys
Multi-step tests that navigate, click, type, wait and assert in a real browser, built from a step model or recorded.
DocumentationStep recorder
A Chrome extension records your clicks, typing and navigation and exports them as a test you can edit.
API checks
HTTP requests with assertions on status code, body content and JSONPath values. A step can save a response to a variable for the next request.
DocumentationLogins with MFA
Credentials are kept in an encrypted vault, and steps can generate TOTP codes, so tests can sign in to applications protected by authenticator apps.
Screenshots and video
Runs capture screenshots and a video. By default they are uploaded when a run fails, which is when you need them.
History and reliability
Every execution is kept with its steps and timings, and analytics show pass rate and duration over time.
Documentation
Where tests run
Cloud agents
Run from VerOps-managed locations to test what the public internet sees.
Private agents
Run the synthetic agent inside your network to test internal applications. It connects outbound, so no inbound ports are opened.
DocumentationSeveral locations per test
Assign a test to more than one agent to compare locations and tell a local outage from a global one.
Schedules
From every minute up to daily, with time-zone support.
When a test fails
Alerts and on-call
Route failures through the same alerting, on-call schedules and escalation as everything else.
Learn moreWar rooms
A war room can open automatically after a set number of consecutive failures of the same test.
Learn moreWorkbooks
Use web and API tests as steps in a workbook, with branches, approvals and follow-up actions.
Learn moreRUM
Compare the synthetic result with what real visitors experienced on the same pages.
