For IT operations and infrastructure teams
Many IT teams run one tool for server monitoring, another for network checks, another for inventory and a spreadsheet for licences, each with its own idea of what a machine is. VerOps keeps the monitoring view and the asset view of the same device in one place.
The work it covers
Know every device
Scout on Windows and Linux endpoints, the machine agent on servers, and CSV or API imports for the rest, in one estate.
Learn moreKeep devices patched
Patch posture buckets show which devices are behind and how far, with a report to send to whoever owns them.
DocumentationSpend less on software
See which licensed applications are really used, compare consumption with entitlements, and reclaim idle seats before renewal.
Learn moreWatch servers and clusters
Host health and processes on Linux and Windows servers, Kubernetes clusters, and AWS and Azure metrics.
Learn moreTest the network from every site
Network agents at each office or data centre test each other and your key services, and receive SNMP from your devices.
Learn moreCheck internal applications
Private synthetic agents run browser and API checks against intranet and line-of-business applications.
Learn moreKnow where people work
Office or remote presence per device from your office networks, with attendance by location if you choose to turn it on.
DocumentationGet paged once, by the right rule
Alert rules, silences for maintenance windows, on-call schedules and escalation.

A typical rollout
- 01
Week one
Import your existing asset list, deploy Scout to a pilot group, and install the machine agent on a few servers.
- 02
Then
Add network agents at your main sites, define office networks for presence, and record your main software licences.
- 03
Ongoing
Schedule the inventory, patch and licence reports, set alert rules, and ask Vera the questions that used to need a spreadsheet.
Why one platform helps
One device record
A server’s health, its installed software and its patch state are on the same asset, not in three tools.
One permission model
Roles with view and manage rights per module decide who sees inventory, who manages alerts and who changes agents.
Learn moreWindows-first where it counts
Scout, the machine agent and the network agent all run as native Windows services with Windows installers.
Plain-language questions
Vera answers questions over inventory, licences, presence, network and monitoring data.

Limits worth knowing
- macOS devices are not supported by the VerOps agents.
- Directory data comes from Microsoft Entra ID or CSV. On-premises Active Directory over LDAP is not supported.
- VerOps does not deploy software or run remote-control sessions. It inventories and monitors.
