AI providers, synthetic agents and RUM apps

AI Providers

Settings → AI Providers registers the model(s) used by Vera, AI Analyze, and the Workbook/Sentinel AI-quality evaluators.

  1. Click Add provider; choose the type (OpenAI-compatible, Anthropic, Ollama, OpenRouter, Azure OpenAI…).
  2. Enter the model id, base URL (for compatible gateways) and the API key (stored encrypted).
  3. Mark one as default — it's used wherever a specific provider isn't chosen.

Synthetic Agents

Settings → Synthetic Agents lists your private synthetic agents and their connection keys — generate a key here, then install the agent (see Synthetics → Agents).

Web Experience Apps

Settings → Web Experience Apps manages RUM apps and their ingest keys (mirrors the Apps tab inside Web Experience). Create an app, grab its key, install the SDK.

Metadata

Settings → Metadata manages service ownership, tags and platform metadata that the rest of the product uses for grouping, filtering and routing.

Keep one provider marked default; AI features fall back to it so nothing silently stops working when a node omits a provider.
